"The Universe gave me a huge gift
this morning and it dropped out of the blue!
A few hours ago I was
commissioned to do a five piece wall grouping for a man's home and
jewelry for his wife. I never would have thought the
president of the conservation group I have been volunteering my
time to, owned a jewelry business. I fixed some graphic
errors on their brochures, attended a board meeting and picked up
a couple hundred pounds of trash last Saturday along the Los
Angeles River. Today I volunteered to supervise sixty volunteers
in a tree planting event next month. This helps to restore
the mile long stretch along the L A river where many of us walk
and where I take my daily walk. This is for me too.
I let go of my anger and anxiety
and I live each minute. I am grateful now. Besides
volunteering my time to restore the Los Angeles River, I started
writing a funny blog site about my childhood. I get up early and
walk every day. I'm attending an exciting new church that pumps my
spirit! I asked my daughter to give me an art show in
November and she agreed so I am creating jewelry every
day. I designed some cool new business cards for
myself. I always carry several with me and hand them out
regularly and I asked all my walking friends and neighbors to
please come to my art opening in November. It's growing into
a crowd. I am invisioning a lot of people there. I believe I
deserve good things and I wish good things for everyone else
now too.
You have been part of my
restoration and still are. Your great podcasts and letters
helped me find the life I am finally living. I want to
thank you for getting me back on the track. Oh
yes, thinking good thoughts brings in good things and so does
giving joyfully!! It changes your life from the inside
out.
